It's built tough for chasing and pouncing, but there's a battery inside. Play together, and put it away if they start chewing.

How does it work?

Press the button and set it down. It rolls off by itself, trailing its rope tail, and when it bumps into a wall or furniture it turns and keeps going. After 5 minutes it rests to save battery; a touch starts the next round.

What are the 3 modes?

Interactive (yellow light) changes speed and direction at random. Slow (purple light) is a gentle roll for puppies, older dogs and shy dogs. Fast (blue light) is quick bursts for high-energy dogs. Press the button to switch; the light shows which mode is on.

How long does the battery last?

It charges in about 30 minutes over USB-C (5V/1A). A full charge gives up to 6 hours of play, and because it rests between 5-minute rounds, a charge goes a long way. When the light flashes red it's time to charge, and it turns green when it's full.

Can my dog chew it?

It's tough: a soft silicone layer over a hard ABS shell takes bumps, drops and pounces. But it's an electronic toy with a battery inside, so it's a chase toy, not a chew toy. Play together, and put it away if your dog starts chewing on it.

Is it safe for my dog?

It's made from food-grade silicone and plastic, with no high-concern chemicals. It isn't waterproof, so keep it away from water and use it indoors.

Is it loud?

You'll hear a soft hum from the motor while it rolls. Most dogs dive straight in; a few shy ones need a minute to get used to it, and slow mode is a good place to start.

Is it right for my dog's size?

It's about 2.4 in wide and 2.75 in tall (6 x 7 cm), close to a tennis ball, so it's best for small and medium dogs.

Can I mix colors?

Yes. Pick as many balls as you like in any mix of colors. One ball is $34.99, two are $27.49 each, and three or more are $23.33 each.
